A Word From Mike

"I've been in solar since 2011, working for a couple of companies until 2019, when I got itchy feet. My expectations for the industry weren't being met, so on a rainy day, me and Sally decided to set up M+S Renewables to see if we could make a difference.

It's been one hell of a journey and plenty of hard work. We started in my garage with one box, gradually building our dream of having a proper establishment, with head office, showroom and stores all in one place. My vision was to have a place customers can come to and see everything in one place.

We now employ over 20 people, with experts in every field in the renewable sector, and we've realised the dream of not just domestic but commercial work as well. We're gold standard installers for Sigenergy products, and we're aiming to be platinum installers very soon, which would make us only the second in the UK to reach that top tier."

Our Team

Every installation is carried out by our own in-house team — not subcontractors. When you book with M+S Renewables, the person surveying your property, the person on your roof, and the person who answers the phone if something needs a follow-up are all directly employed by us, not a third party we've brought in for the day. It means consistent quality, proper accountability, and a team who know your system because they're the ones who fitted it.
